La réparation, pièce par pièce, des éléments défectueux ou usés de la machine humaine est un rêve multi-centenaire de la médecine. Les premières greffes d'organes, datant d'une cinquantaine d'années, ont commencé de réaliser ce rêve. L'amélioration des méthodes chirurgicales et l'apparition de nouveaux immuno-suppresseurs ont depuis considérablement élargi l'éventail des indications et les pourcentages de succès de ces greffes...
