Yageo denies acquisition rumor, but open to possibility

In response to a March 1 newswatch, which stated that Yageo would take over a European distributor in the second half of 2006 to expand its presence in the European and US channel markets, Yageo stated that the rumor was only an assumption by unspecified reporters who requested Yageo’s opinions about Walsin Technology Corporation’s (WTC’s) recent moves.
