Taiwan market: Sony cuts retail prices for external 16x DVD burners by 22-23%

Prices for Sony external entry-level 16x DVD Dual burners in the Taiwan retail market have recently dropped by 22-23% from NT$6,000 (US$181) to NT$4,600-4,700 (US$139-142) following a growing demand for low-priced notebooks, according to local retail channels.
