Taiwan lagging behind in DAB

While several countries including the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland and Germany are promoting DAB (digital audio broadcasting) to its upgrade DAB+, Taiwan's promotion appears to be largely lagging behind. Taiwan issued six digital radio licenses in June 2005 but the six licensees have made no or little progress towards commercial operations, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
