
IC designer PTC expects strong sales growth in 2Q

Taiwan-based IC design house Princeton Technology Corporation (PTC) expects its second-quarter revenues will grow over 39% sequentially to NT$534 million (US$16.9 million), while margins will rise slightly to 34-35% from the first quarter's 33.4%. As new solutions, including ASICs co-developed with an international company, will begin mass production in the second of the year, sales from the second half will contribute more than 60% of the company's revenues for 2006.
