Foxconn sues LSE affiliate for LCD inverter-related patent infringement

EMS giant Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) on February 24 sued Logah Technology, a 33.1%-ownded affiliate of Li Shin International Enterprise (LSE) for infringing on its LCD inverter-related patents and requested that the Hsinchu District Court enforce a provisional seizure of up to NT$180 million (US$5.5 million) worth of Logah Technology assets, according to the Chinese language Commercial Times.
